| The general details tab shows on the left hand side some additional information about the client:
|
|
|
| · | Date of Birth - if this field is filled in, a report can be generated to show all clients birthdays in a particular time period, this is often useful for marketing purposes.
|
| · | Fax
|
| · | Email – if an email address is entered in here the system can automatically send emails to this client when requested to do so.
|
| · | Website
|
| · | Welcome drink – salons may wish to offer clients a drink when they enter the salon, this section allows details of the clients favourite drink to be stored.
|
| · | Special discount – a client can be given a pre-defined discount which will automatically be applied to any transaction completed at the salon, this is often used for valued clients, family and friends of the salon.
|
| · | GP Information – details of the selected clients GP can be stored in this section.
|
| The right hand side of the general details tab is titled minute based credit cards; this displays a list of all the treatments/products sold within the salon which are sold on a minute based system, this is often used for tanning/sun-bed products where a client may buy 60 minutes upfront and then redeem the minutes over a period of time. In addition to showing the current level of minutes available to any selected client, minutes can be amended here by click on the appropriate line and typing in the amount of minutes available. Please note if a client buys minutes through the payment (walkin) screen these will automatically be added to the account and if the minutes are redeemed through the payment screen these will automatically be deducted from the account.
