| SoftBooking allows salons to store a record of all or some of the rooms available within the salon; these rooms can then have specific treatments allocated to them, to prevent potential room clashes at the booking stage. If a user attempts to book a treatment in a room which has already been allocated to another treatment at the same time, the user will be given a warning.

| The rooms main screen should now be visible; this is simply a list of all the rooms currently set up on your system (this list will be empty the first time you access the rooms section). Alongside the list of rooms are a series of buttons: Add, Delete, Edit, and Select all. At the bottom of the screen are the buttons OK and Cancel. The OK button closes the room screen saving all the changes made, while the Cancel button closes the room screen discarding any changes made
| The first step to setting up rooms is to actually enable rooms; this is done by ticking the box title Enable Rooms on the main room screen.
| Once rooms are enabled you can start to add rooms to the system; to add a room click on the button titled Add.
| A separate box will now open; this box is an individual room card, the top part of the card allows you to give the room a name in the box titled Description, you can also enter the floor number and room number in the appropriate boxes; this is purely for your own information purposes.
| Below the description/information part of the room card is a list of all the treatments offered within the salon grouped by treatment group; to allocate a treatment to a room you need to tick the box next to the desired treatment.
| If you complete more than one treatment in the room at the same time, you can also specify this by highlighting the appropriate treatment and entering how many treatments can be completed in the room simultaneously, in the box titled No of Treatments in this Room.
| Rooms can also be removed from the system; to remove a room highlight the room you wish to delete on the room main screen and press the button titled Delete. You can also delete all the rooms at the same time by pressing the button titled Select All and then pressing the Delete button. The system will then ask you if you want to disable the rooms function altogether.

| When a room has been allocated to a treatment and this treatment is booked it is possible to see the room on the top line of the appropriate booking, the room is stored on the left of the title line of the booking in [square brackets].
