Adding an additional treatment at the payment stage of a transaction

Often in salons a client will come in for one treatment and during this treatment may decide to have an additional treatment at the same time. Obviously if this is the case, when you come to pay for the booking from the booking screen the additional treatment will not show up and often cannot be fitted on the booking screen.

You can therefore add a booking at payment stage that will not show up on the booking screen, these are known on the system as invisible bookings. To add a booking at payment stage you must click on the text line near the top of the walkin screen titled create additional booking; a search box will open, where you can type the appropriate booking and press OK, this will display a list of all appropriate treatments, simply double click on the relevant booking to add it to the walkin screen. Alternatively type nothing to view all available treatments and double click on the appropriate one from the list.

These ad-hoc treatments will appear on the clients treatment history tab on the client card but will not have a time allocated and will not be on the booking screen, the booking notes will display a message 'Hidden Booking - Not shown on the booking screen'

Click on the link - 'Create Additional Booking'.

A search box appears for you to enter criteria for example '1/2' for 1/2 leg wax.

The results will appear in the standard format.
