If you wish to tell the system who the commission for a sale should be paid to, press the arrow next to the box titled commission, this will display a list of all the salons therapists. If a customer known to the salon walks in off the street and buys a product, it is a good idea to tell the system the customer buying the product, to do this type the clients name in the 'Client search' box and press the … button, this will give you a list of matching customers. You can also add new customers from here by pressing the new button, this will open up a blank customer file.      

open Scanning/selecting products  

Products can be scanned into the system by clicking the mouse in the enter code: box and scanning the items barcode. Alternatively you can type a product description in this box and press the … button, a list displaying all the matching products will appear, just double click on the appropriate item. If the customer is purchasing more than one of the same item click your mouse on the quantity column, on the white box on the right of the screen, then type in the quantity the customer is buying. If a product is searched for that is not on the system you will be asked if you wish to complete the sale naming the unknown product as a miscellaneous item, if you say yes you will be prompted to enter a sale value.

Payment Discounts
Discounts can be given at the point of sale by either pressing the discounts button or by manually clicking on the column headed disc… and manually typing in the discount. If you press the discounts button, a small discounts screen will appear, giving you the options of applying a cash discount (a cash value), and/or a % discount on all products and/or a % discount on all treatments, press ok to apply the discount or cancel to cancel the discount.

Once you have added all the products and treatments you wish to the walkin screen they must be paid for. To pay, type in the amount and payment method tendered by the customer. The payment can be split into several different methods or in just one, if the customer is paying using one payment method and is paying the exact amount simply press the appropriate button, that is to say, if the £12 cash, press the cash button and appropriate amount will be displayed in the cash box. To complete the payment press the complete payment button, the till will open and you will be asked if you wish to print a receipt. If you cannot press the complete payment button because it is disabled it means the full amount has not been tendered. Please note you still need to complete your credit card payments through your 'Chip & Pin' machine, the system does NOT verify credit card details.
