Dear SoftBooking
Staff,
For once it gives
great pleasure to write a letter of thanks and praise to a supplier,
believe me it is normally the opposite.
When we were
approached and shown the SoftBooking system it all looked very clever
and very easy to operate, ideal for a salon owner to save hours of
administration time. I thought it was too good to be true and especially
at the price. The impression I got was young computer wiz kids talking
computer language that a 55 year old builder and a 45 year old therapist
would have nightmares about.
Our situation was the
salon had been open for 3 ½ years we had built a client base of 4,000
and our reception area was now becoming the nightmare, also the amount
of time wasted each day looking for record cards was getting ridiculous.
I was spending hours going through our paper system working out staff
commissions and wages.
We had to do
something, so I worked out the cost of your system against the cost of
our mental health and you won hands down. My biggest concern then was
will we get the backup we need, neither my wife nor I were very computer
literate and I don’t want to buy something that we can’t use because of
our own inadequacies. How glad I am that the SoftBooking system was
cheap compared to all the others we had looked at, at the beauty shows.
The SoftBooking staff
also had the patience to explain things to us in layman’s terms, my gut
feeling was to give it a try. It was the best decision we have ever
made! I can not thank the SoftBooking team enough for their help over
and above the call of duty, their patience when we could not grasp the
simplest of things, and for being there for us when we needed them.
I am amazed at how
the system has progressed with the upgrades they have put in place.
“I sincerely wish you
all the success you deserve but please remember that a business like
yours must never lose that personal touch”.
I would like to add I
have spent about 1 ½ hours writing this letter, I can remember clearly
not being able to spare 1 ½ minutes to complain let alone this amount of
time to say thanks.
Yours truly,
Bill & Sylvia
